Sweet ~n~ Saucy CrackerHouse Shepherds Pie

 

  • 2 Bottles CrackerHouse medium pepper or fire hot sauce
  • 2cup Catsup
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 lbs Ground Chuck
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ can Lesuer Peas
  • ½ can Corn
  • 5-6 medium Potatoes
  • Appr. ½ cup butter or margarine
  • Appr ½ cup Milk
  • Dash of salt
  • 8oz Bag Shredded Cheese

 

Boil appr. 5 - 6 medium potatoes until tender when forked and then add enough butter and milk to make creamy but firm mashed potatoes with a dash of salt. Set aside. While potatoes are boiling, add garlic salt and black pepper to meat and cook until done. Drain meat. To meat add CrackerHouse sauce, catsup and brown sugar. Mix well and layer the meat sauce mixture in a 9x13 pan. Next add a layer of peas and corn over the meat mixture. Now layer the mashed potatoes over the peas and corn and top with the shredded cheese. Bake @ 350 until cheese melts and mixture is bubbly. Serve with crescent rolls smeared with CrackerHouse garlic butter.
