CrackerHouse Sauces, Inc. is based in Palatka, Florida. Our home is nestled close to the region of St. Augustine which is known for the locally grown Datil pepper.  Our Datil peppers are home grown by my dad, Big Indian, who came up with the initial CrackerHouse Pepper Sauce Recipe.

About 25 years ago someone gave us a Datil Pepper plant as a gift and the original "Sweet and Sassy sauce of the South" was born. CrackerHouse Sauces began as a simple homemade recipe enjoyed by friends and families. Encouragement from these same folks was the incentive for starting the company.  CrackerHouse is a relatively new sauce company having been in production approximately 5 years now. Our family has been making the sauce at home ever since that first Datil plant. Owning my own sauce company has been a dream of mine for years. Friends and family kept telling me I needed to try to market the sauce; that it would be a hit. I finally thought I would give it a shot. I named the sauce for the simplicity and comfort found in the Cracker Houses of the south. We pride ourselves on our sauce being "Simple and Fresh".

CrackerHouse Sauces are simple recipes with each having their own distinct fresh flavor. Both the Medium Pepper Sauce and the Fire Hot Sauce are a bit sweet but with differing levels of heat. If you  are a honey mustard fan, the Datil Honey Mustard may be your choice. A creamy sauce with a mild Datil flavor. The Wing Sauces are great sauces with a hint of Datil flavor.  Although the Datil Pepper is the feature pepper in our products, all of our products contain a masterful blend of Florida Datil peppers and Jalapeno peppers along with other fresh vegetables.

Our recipes are tried and tested before final formulation and production by a professional copacker. Currently we have a Medium Pepper Sauce, Fire Hot Sauce, Datil Honey Mustard, Mild Wing Sauce and Hot Wing Sauce. However, other concoctions from the home kitchen will be available in the near future.   Our sauces are available in numerous local restaurants and stores, but we also accept online orders where you can pay with your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards through PayPal, money orders and checks. 

CrackerHouse sauces are great on any food; fried, baked or smoked meats such as pork, wild game, beef or poultry, potatoes or any vegetables, soups, subs and sandwiches; fried, steamed or broiled seafood and oysters (raw, steamed or smoked).
